element sonnet.

Fluorine is a poisonous gas
It is the color yellow
Nineteen is it's atomic mass
But it is far from mellow

It burns just about anything
Responsive is this halogen
From plain water to metal rings
But surely not oxygen

It comes from the earth
Destroying the field
But nothing is it worth
Stuck on the soil, away it's sealed

Yet we use it so much
Let's not be burned by its touch
